Denzel Washington is Americas favourite star

Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington is Americas favourite star. The Training Day and American Gangster star was the top spot for a third time in a Harris poll. Washington beat Will Smith, Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood and cowboy legend, the late John Wayne. They all placed third. Veteran actor, Morgan Freeman, was also on the favourites list in ninth position, said Contact music. Others who are also on the list include Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Tom Hank, Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.

Final Poster for Butler and Heigls The Ugly Truth

Last year, Sony released a poster for their summer romantic comedy The Ugly Truth that my graphics designer friend praised (which is rare), saying that it was cleverly minimalistic and effective. It was simple but got people interested, which is important for effective poster design. Well, Sony has released the final version of the poster and replaced the stick figures with the real actors - Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl.I think they did a good job taking the simple design and adding some faces to it, so I wanted to feature it today. Ive also put up the original poster below to compare the two side-by-side, if youre interested.

Iron Mike Tyson Returns to the Virtual Ring

With the news that Iron Mike Tyson will be included as one of the legacy fighters in the upcoming Fight Night Round 4, many people are up in arms questioning whether this is poor decision by EA. While one may quickly jump to point out that Tysons days have long passed him by and his previous behavior should warrant a lifelong punishment from anything that has any mention of the word boxing, they forget that a great deal of what boxing is now is owed to Iron Mike.

Kip Bigelow Hired as AMA Motocross Manager

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to announce that Kip Bigelow has been hired as the AMA Racing motocross manager. Bigelow is an AMA Life Member, a long-time motocross racer, and a regional organizer and volunteer with AMA District 14. Motocross is our most popular racing discipline, and its critical that the series manager understand first-hand the passion, dedication and excitement that drives our valued competitors, said AMA Director of Racing Joe Bromley. Kip Bigelow brings that experience to the table, and all of us in AMA Racing are looking forward to working with Kip and leveraging his experience.
